Faith
Faith: 1. complete trust or confidence in someone or something. 2. strong belief in God or in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual apprehension rather than proof.
Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen”
James 2:20 “Do you want to be shown, you foolish person, that faith apart from work is useless?”
James 2:17 “So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead”
Hope
Hope: 1. a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen. 2. grounds for believing that something good may happen. 3. a feeling of trust.
Romans 5:5 “And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us”
Thessalonaians 3:5 “Remembering before our God and your work of faith and labor of love and steadfastness of hope our Lord Jesus Christ”
Colossians 1:27 “To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of Glory”
Love
Love: 1. an intense feeling of deep affection.
