Faith

Faith: 1. complete trust or confidence in someone or something. 2. strong belief in God or in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual apprehension rather than proof.

Hebrews 11:1  “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen”

James 2:20  “Do you want to be shown, you foolish person, that faith apart from work is useless?”

James 2:17  “So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead”

Hope

Hope: 1. a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen. 2. grounds for believing that something good may happen. 3. a feeling of trust.

Romans 5:5  “And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us”

Thessalonaians 3:5  “Remembering before our God and your work of faith and labor of love and steadfastness of hope our Lord Jesus Christ”

Colossians 1:27  “To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of Glory”

Love

Love: 1. an intense feeling of deep affection.

John 4:7  “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God”

Peter 4:8  “Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins”

Romans 8:28  “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, fro those who are called according to his purpose”
